AmiWest 2021 Broadcast Schedule

Hello Amiga Community!

Welcome to Amiwest 2021. This marks the 24th year of the Amiwest show. 2021 has been an eventful year but the best event is happening Oct 16th. Amiwest 2021 will have a full show floor experience for those able to travel to Sacramento, CA. For everyone else there will be a greatly expanded broadcast featuring many of the familiar faces and many new folks as well. Scroll down to see the schedule and the speaker BIOs. Like years past we will broadcast using Youtube but this might change so check the page before the event to make sure you are all setup. For AmigaOS 4 users, see below for instructions on how to access.

To give information to all newcomers to AmigaOS4, and even to those ones who considering buying sam460cr while owning something else for aos4 already (like me having also x5000 and pegasos2), I made probably one of my biggest and heavy video-work for, called “Sam460: from the Begining to the End”. It is a long 45-minute video, with all the stuff like unpacking, checking, testing, installing of os4, real-life tests, subtitles, and co. The video is of 7 parts:

PART 1: Unpacking the package and close look at the motherboard
PART 2: The first run. Tests on the Table.
PART 3: Installing into the case. Vertical GFX setup.
PART 4: Installing of AmigaOS4 FE. an USB Stick way.
PART 5: The basic configuration: Network, Audio, and Extras

AmigaOne X5000 running MilkyTracker 1.03 RC2

Today the RC2 of MilkyTracker 1.03 has been released.

As Capehill states on Amigans.net : Now uses separate paths for each ASL requester, so it should be more convenient if you have modules in one dir and samples somewhere else, for example.

AmigaOne X5000 running AIOSTREAMS 

All In One streams (aiostreams) is a pack of scripts, written by George Sokianos (Walkero) in Python, that can be used to stream and watch videos from different online networks, like Twitch.tv and Mixer.com.

All the scripts should be used from the shell, as well as from any web browser that support execution of scripts. It is really easy to configure a link context menu and open the URL with the script. And if “Autoplay” is enabled, then the video will start automatically using the configured default players.

Hotfix for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition Update 2 available for download

Some users of update 2 for AmigaOS4.1 Final Edition have experienced stability issues after updating. This hotfix addresses these stability issues and fixes a couple of other minor issues found after the release of update 2.

The hot fix is free to registered users of AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition and can be found in the download area at https://www.hyperion-entertainment.com/.It will also be made available via AmiUpdate.

The hotfix should only be applied on top of the original update 2 package released on December 23,2020!

The original update 2 package has also been updated with the components in the hot fix and is now available in a new version (version number 53.14)at https://www.hyperion-entertainment.com/ and via AmiUpdate.

This update is the result of the continuing effort of a dedicated group of AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition developers and beta-testers. Thank you!
